When my wife Christene and I we were deciding on food for our New Year’s get-together, I selfishly suggested 8 layer dip. First, because in all my life I had only experienced 7 layers of dip. And second, because I wanted a header photo of said deliciousness for our blog of the same name.

Christene obliged. The dip was so magnificent that I thought it was worthy of a blog post all its own. I had hoped for a photo showing the distinct layers, but they all blended together to form a heavenly goo. I will try to get my shot next year.
